The pantry is open to clients Wednesdays and Thursdays, but we also have a variety of tasks outside of our Distribution Hours for which we need volunteers: food Pick-up at local donations sites, sorting and storing food/other donations at the Pantry, driving the delivery truck into Boston, unloading Greater Boston Food Bank Deliveries, assisting clients…

We are taking clients’ food orders over the phone, pre-packing those orders, and distributing them in a drive-up pantry. We need volunteers to pack and distribute those orders.

With your school or office, in your neighborhood, with a sports group, or somewhere of your choosing – collect food items, coats, school supplies, etc. and donate them to Project Just Because to help people in need.

We are always looking for volunteers! Let us know if you want to get involved and if you have a particular area of expertise.
