Like to cook? You can prepare a meal at home with your family or friends to deliver to a host congregation. If you’d like to meet our families, we invite volunteers to stay for dinner and share the evening with our guests and their children.

On the weekends, adult volunteers answer the phone, do activities with children, and are a welcoming presence for our guests. During the week, we often seek assistance in the office with mailings, covering the phones, or administrative projects. Teens are welcome with an adult over 18.

Active volunteers participate more frequently on organizational tasks and duties as a member of a Committee or Board.

Floater volunteers participate only on specific tasks or events.

Pick from a list of volunteering opportunities including event promotion and event day assistance, writing letters to the editor, contacting legislators, hosting fundraising get-togethers, and more!
