The pantry is open to clients Wednesdays and Thursdays, but we also have a variety of tasks outside of our Distribution Hours for which we need volunteers: food Pick-up at local donations sites, sorting and storing food/other donations at the Pantry, driving the delivery truck into Boston, unloading Greater Boston Food Bank Deliveries, assisting clients…

The Pantry benefits from food drives conducted by local organizations, businesses, churches and synagogues that generate non-perishable food and household items that are distributed to our neighbors in need. If your group would like to organize a food drive, please contact us.

Help deliver our programs on-site to youth, elders and individuals with disabilities. Join us on the front lines bringing the natural world indoors to those who need it most. You’ll not only see—and feel—how the programs engage the participants and build their confidence, you will be the reason it happens.

We welcome volunteers! We need your help in order to provide the greatest assistance to our clients. Volunteers come from the surrounding communities, businesses, and through the ARC general community and judicial court mandated individuals. Areas of need include administration, events, networking, fundraising, and transportation.
