As a community event volunteer you can assist with planning American Cancer Society events that celebrate survivors, honor loved ones lost, and are filled with hope and camaraderie.

The Northborough Food Pantry is run entirely by volunteers. We are currently accepting applications for volunteers interested in staffing pantry on Thursday evenings when open for clients and for special projects and stocking shelves during weekend food drives.

We count on a core group of more than 70 volunteers who are involved in the daily operations of the Pantry. They work directly with clients, pick up food from local grocers and farms and deliver it to the Pantry, stock and organize shelves, and assist with the Mobile Pantry and Healthy Futures Market. Our regular volunteer hours are Monday afternoons and Tuesday mornings and afternoons.

We are so appreciative of the community’s desire to support us in our mission. If we can’t use you as a volunteer, you are always welcome to hold food drives for us, but we ask that you contact first us so we can provide guidance about our greatest needs.

We have a special event each year in early November and need many volunteers for a successful effort: Scouting for Food is our largest food drive. You can volunteer to help us process the donations that day.
