With our new warehouse space, Hope & Comfort can host corporate events for small and large groups. By working together, we can customize the event to reflect your organization’s values and philanthropic goals. Plus, it’s a great activity for group bonding!
Since our founding, Hope & Comfort has put youth at the center of our work. To further this mission, Hope & Comfort has developed a board just for school-aged children. Youth board members take part in age- appropriate service projects and develop leadership skills.
Responsibilities include: Wrapping gifts for Walden School students for holidays and celebrations. Beautifying the campus for special events. Organizing special fundraising events, such as the annual Ben Hollingsworth Memorial Ride. Gathering silent auction gifts for our fall gala.
Responsibilities include supporting learning in the classroom or library and helping the day of our special events.
Our volunteers support our programs and events for children and adults. Opportunities range from sign language support, planning committees, our annual 5k road race, Special Olympic activities/events and helping out at our daytime programs onsite.
Coaches are responsible for helping with all aspects of the team, including: attending pre-season coaches meetings; assisting with recruiting athletes, partners, and additional volunteers; maintaining athlete records and registrations; developing an 8-10 week practice schedule for the season; conducting well organized practices; attending sectional and state-level competitions with your team; and having a working knowledge…

Babysit with SFS. By spending a few hours a week playing with a mother’s child you will allow the mother to become economically independent and break out of the poverty cycle. Background checks and training are required.
