Ways to help

JA Company Program

Students in our community come to you! You'll give them insight into your job and give them a tour of your company so they can have an opportunity to see how work gets done. It's a really great way to show them how products are made or services are promoted.

JA Finance Park® Virtual

You'll be in a digital simulated city! You'll help guide students through their assigned family scenario where they will visit many different businesses. They must purchase items to meet the needs of their family, such as insurance, clothing, transportation, housing, groceries, and childcare—without spending more than they earn.

JA Traditional Volunteer

As a JA Traditional Volunteer, you'll be paired with a teacher in a classroom. This delivery method is an effective and popular way to show students a connection between the skills they are learning in the classroom and how they can get a more fulfilling career and life.

How you help All we need is your enthusiasm, life experience, and a willingness to teach children about how you took chances and shot for the stars. Junior Achievement of Northern New England provides the training, curriculum, and a classroom ready to meet you!
About us Junior Achievement of Northern New England is dedicated to preparing the youth of New England to lead self-sustaining, responsible lives by building the skills needed to succeed in the working world, manage their finances, and think creatively about the world around them. Our programs take a "learn-by-doing" approach to skill mastery, building students' self-confidence as they experience curriculum focused on JA's three pillars of knowledge – financial literacy, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship.
