Our mission

To engage our community to help neighbors in need. Local businesses and individuals share with us their philanthropic gifts of time, expertise, and financial resources. We translate that support into essential aid for individuals and nonprofit human service organizations serving residents in Concord and Carlisle.
Opportunities

Event, Office, Marketing and Committee

Volunteering with the Foundation or one of the organizations we support is a wonderful way to enrich the community we love. Here are some ways to help:

We welcome help from students as well! High school or college students may receive community service credit by volunteering at the Concord Carlisle Foundation.

How you help

Since its founding in 1947, the Concord Carlisle Foundation has been a volunteer-driven organization. Without our volunteers, our fundraising, special events, and community work simply would not be possible. Each year, hundreds of individuals give of their time and talents to help make a difference in our towns!

About us

Founded in 1947 as an organization of neighbors helping neighbors.

We’re the only organization responding to a wide spectrum of critical issues in Concord and Carlisle by addressing:

  • mental health
  • food insecurity
  • elder support
  • affordable housing
  • education
  • childcare and family services
  • physical disabilities
  • legal aid
  • domestic violence

We support nonprofit human service organizations through our grant making process and targeted funding. We engage our community through opportunities to donate, volunteer, or participate in our community-wide events. We collaborate with our grant recipients to advance the impact and efficacy of their programs. We are here to make our community stronger and a welcoming place for all residents.

In addition to supporting nonprofit organizations financially, the Foundation acts as a resource for the towns of Concord and Carlisle, through partnerships with town governments, local businesses, and community groups. New ideas and initiatives are always welcome. We are proud of both our tradition of caring and our responsiveness to the ever-changing needs of our community.

A single donation supports multiple organizations and programs, delivering a holistic approach to an individual or family’s multifaceted needs. Since 2018, the Foundation has invested more than $2.5 million back into our communities.
