Our mission	To transform the lives of families with children that are facing homelessness by mobilizing a diverse community to provide shelter, education, and comprehensive support.

Opportunities	Childcare If one of your teens enjoys babysitting, you can volunteer to babysit together while our parents participate in workshops, meetings, or special events at the Day Center. Occasional, Monthly Teens, Adults, Child with Adult Individuals, Families Indoor None, On-site, Skilled Weekdays, Weekends Meal Preparation/Dinner Hosting Like to cook? You can prepare a meal at home with your family or friends to deliver to a host congregation. If you’d like to meet our families, we invite volunteers to stay for dinner and share the evening with our guests and their children. One-time, Occasional, Monthly Teens, 55+, Adults, Child with Adult Individuals, Groups (2-10), Families Indoor None Weekdays, Weekends Professional Expertise Volunteers often share their professional skills with our families. If you want to have a direct impact, you can help with resume writing, tutoring, job searches, and more. As a growing nonprofit, we have benefited from volunteers in our network offering professional skills in marketing, event planning, legal assistance and more. If you have an expertise, let us know how you’d like to help. Occasional, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Skilled Weekdays, Weekends Office Volunteers On the weekends, adult volunteers answer the phone, do activities with children, and are a welcoming presence for our guests. During the week, we often seek assistance in the office with mailings, covering the phones, or administrative projects. Teens are welcome with an adult over 18. One-time, Occasional, Monthly Teens, Adults, Child with Adult Individuals, Groups (2-10), Families Office work None, On-site Weekdays, Weekends Overnight Hosts When our live-in Shelter Manager is on vacation, we need an adult to spend the night in the building to be a resource and comforting presence for our resident families. How you help	We couldn’t live without our volunteers or donors. Each of our programs are structured and operational from the core of our volunteers and donors!

About us	We serve low- and moderate-income families with at least one child under the age of 18 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Our families are Massachusetts residents, with priority given to families from the Metrowest region. We welcome all genders and family compositions.
