Wellesley Neighbors
| Our mission | To bring people together to build a caring, connected community, one that thrives on friendship, learning, and mutual support. Through engaging social, cultural, and educational activities, trusted health information, service referrals, and a spirit of neighborly assistance, we help one another live more fully and independently. |

| How you help | Wellesley Neighbors is part of a growing “Village Movement” across the country, with more than 200 Villages now thriving nationwide. The goal is simple yet powerful: to help older adults remain safely, comfortably, and actively engaged in their communities for as long as possible. At Wellesley Neighbors, we do this through the support of neighbors helping neighbors. As a volunteer, whether you are a member or not, we will work with you to match your interests, skills, and availability with the needs of our members. Your efforts create meaningful connections, reduce isolation, and make it possible for members to navigate the challenges of aging with confidence and dignity. |

| About us | Wellesley Neighbors began in 2011 as Wellesley at Home with 113 members. Just two years later we became Wellesley Neighbors to reflect the growth of our community beyond Wellesley, welcoming members from Dover, Natick, Needham, and Weston among other towns. Today, we are a vibrant network of up to 150 older adults who come together to share meals, explore new interests, enjoy cultural outings, and, most importantly, support one another. Along the way, friendships are formed, laughter is shared, and life is richer. |
